About
I gave up a successful career in the Probation Service to become a Professional Storyteller, take Yoga training and study Art. In 2008, I qualified as a Yoga teacher, and in 2010 I achieved a BA in Fine Art from the University of Kent. I have exhibited regularly around the county since then. For eleven years I taught art but I am now solely focused on yoga teaching and my own art practice.
I live in East Kent in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and I grow flowers, herbs and vegetables in our long garden. I draw from both these sources for my art-work. My previous careers feed into my art making: I enjoy the process of Portrait painting as I appreciate and respect the individuality of each person. I continue to create and tell stories, now for my grand-children, which provide further inspiration for my paintings.
